Our Story

I inherited this home from my grandmother (Grandma Angela), and decided with Emanuele to start deep renovations, thus fulfilling her wish to give once again life to the home.

I am a mathematics and physics teacher in a high school in Milan.

We live in Milan, together with Mira, our 11 years old cat who gave her name to the home.

Our Mission

Casa Mira Parasio: in these three words we want to share with our guests 3 key concepts of our offer:

  1. You will be guests in a real old Ligurian Casa (home in Italian), furnished with taste and sophistication, and equipped with all the modern comforts and everything you may need, just as if it were the home where you live.
  2. Mira is a daughter to us, and by her name we want to communicate the same love, availability, and energy we devote to her.
  3. Mira in Italian also means watching. From our house you can watch the Parasio and its main and most beautiful square.

We’d like to make our guests live the magic of a home and a holiday in one of the most beautiful and characteristic historic centers in Liguria and, why not, put some money aside!

The soul and engine of the house is Mrs. Minella, mother of Alessio. She is an artist with passion for painting, embroidery and decoupage.

She has a taste for decor and artistic abilities that are out of the ordinary. All the décor and the items you will find at home are hand-made or purchased by her, with great love and attention to detail, all of them reflecting and inspired by the deepest roots of our land.

We all try to make our best and to anticipate, meet and satisfy all the requests and needs of our guests, taking care of their suggestions. This has resulted in a constant commitment to continuous improvement, to make your vacation a unique, relaxing and enjoyable Ligurian experience.
